THE TUFTED TITMOUSE BIRD
Recently I just realized some of those cute birds hanging out there, one of them is 'Tufted Titmouse' they're adorable! I can't bear but to search some infomation about this cute little tufted bird. The tufted titmouse is a small adorable tufted songbird from North America,
So, you may want to ask me what is it's species. I will tell you that they're a species in a tit and chickadee family (Paridae). The black crested titmouse, found from central and southern Texas southward, was included as subspecies, but now considered as separate species, (Baeolophus atricristatus)
From 1966 - 2015 the tufted titmouse population has increased by more than 1.5% per year throughout the northeastern U.S., Michigan, and Wisconsin. The song of the tufted titmouse is usually described as a whistled peter-peter-peter, although this song can vary approximately 20 notable ways. Tufted titmice nest in a hole in a tree, either a natural cavity, a human-made nest box, or sometimes an old woodpecker nest. They line the nest with soft materials, sometimes plucking hair from a live animal such as dog. If they find snake skin sheddings, they may incorporate pieces into their nest. Eggs measure under 1 inch (2.5 centimetres) long and are white or cream-colored with brownish or purplish spots.
